These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dutch Engineer learning platform at dutchengineer.org ("Service"), operated by Dutch Engineer ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Dutch Engineer provides an online learning platform for AI engineering education, including written lessons, interactive code examples, exercises, and capstone projects. The Getting Started module is free; the rest requires a paid subscription.
You must create an account to access the curriculum. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
When using the Service, you agree to:
All course content, including lessons, exercises, code examples, and project descriptions, is owned by Dutch Engineer and protected by copyright. You may use the content for your personal learning. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish the content without written permission.
Code you write as part of exercises and capstone projects is yours. We do not claim ownership of your work.
The Getting Started module is free and requires no card. Access to the rest of the curriculum is a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually in advance at the rate shown when you subscribe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles them directly, and we receive only a customer reference and your subscription status.
The founding rate is held for as long as your subscription stays active. If prices rise, that increase applies to people who subscribe afterwards, not to you. Any change to your own rate would be notified in advance.
You may delete your account at any time from your settings page, and you may delete your data there without closing your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the curriculum will end and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dutch Engineer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dutch Engineer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
